Congratulations to the winner! Russ that was a great thing .. honestly I think $1k is a minimum you can raise .. run one again with a time frame and advise the people before hand it's going to be done .. bet you can raise twice the amount .. I don't doubt it takes a lot of your time .. great job ..it was a pleasure to get involved and I thank you for the opportunity!

Thank you guys for being a part of it.  I had done a couple of others and did them just with my customers and league bowlers in the area.  I decided to this one mostly online and was pleased with the result.  I may just start buying balls and selling tickets for a little bit...use the funds to pay for the ball and the rest to charity.

I think this is wonderful and I was more than happy to make a donation. I'm not trying to look a gift horse in the mouth but besides doing 15lb's can you have an option for 14?

Absolutely...the next I may do as a pick your weight.  I will purchase the ball and send to the winner, pay for the ball with the proceeds and the rest to charity.

Just a quick note ..PayPal does not like to pass money through them for RAFFLES .. consider it gambling ..years back there were raffles for ANY BALL through BR that were cut out due to PayPal .. not sure how they would view CHARITY .. Good Luck!

I did not know that...thank you for the heads up.  I may have to come up with a different funding method.  I know there are a few lesser known funding sites specifically for charity...may have to look into them.
