That's seriously one of the funniest things I have ever seen.  I almost spit out my drink on my work computer.  

Especially since you know it's coming, it's funny to see him jump around like he has already won and then shank it right into the gutter.  Beautiful.

I wish bowling was still on ABC.  I don't currently get ESPN but I am going to upgrade to cable in order to watch the PBA and NCAA football.

That's why they pull out their plastic ball now! Just throw it straight at the head pin! Kind of reminds me when Wes Malott fouled twice in the semi's against Liz Johnson at the Banquet Open. He had that game in the bag.

Been a long while since I've seen that footage...

...but I never remember the balls thumping as they went down the lanes.  I mean Del's ball looked like it clipped a hole and jumped a bit on each of the 3 shots that we saw?

Does anyone remember the Rolaids commercial Del shot the next week? They played it off his gutterball ("I really needed Rolaids after that") and it remains one of the funniest TV commercials I've ever seen.

I was just watching this and figured out what happened to Del.  Watch his trailing foot on the first 2 shots stay on the lane through his follow-thru and then he kicks it up and the final shot causing his hips to open.  I should know about this, I do it all the time.
