With all of the videos I have seen, I have noticed that most videos are of average rev players or high rev players. Very few testers are low rev players, like a lot of the older group of bowlers, or people who, like myself, would rather stay right of most other bowlers. Bowlingball.com has once said that Curley is in the videos because he better reflects the group that watches the videos than the other testers. Would I be right, then, to say we need more low/medium-low rev testers making videos of bowlers who play more up the outside and those with lower ball speed?

+1 for more lower rev videos. Personally, I would venture you could sell a lot more equipment and differentiate product by showing what it can do at a minimum (by low revs) rather than, or at least in addition to, showing everything at a maximum. In that case, almost everything looks equal....

I've watched Curley Becton and also Kim Mann and based purchase decisions on not only what reaction they had, but also simply supporting the manufacturer and/or organization who took the time and had the thoughtfulness to add that viewpoint.

Kim Mann Hammer and Angela Wilt Motiv both would qualify as lower rev players.

She can play down an in where you see most house recreational players but also can move in which most of these type of players are out of their comfort zone and her technique is one of the better ladies that shoot vids.  Note she doesn't lift her upper torso or go thru some gyrations that you see many players go thru.  Her trail leg is down and she doesn't lose inside leverage ball next to her slide foot at release. 

I would agree to many vids are shot by high rev flingers as 'Bones used to call them stand left throw right on a recreational pattern.

I mean even moreso than the average/high rev videos....

When I look at a video, I already know what part of the lane and what oil conditions the ball will work for. The reason I watch the video is to look for reaction shape, length, continuation, etc. Sure, strokers are unable to achieve a skid/flip reaction, but there is still a noticeable difference between a misfit and a misfit pearl. (Random examples)

I prefer watching the low-rev test shots. I also like to see what a ball really looks like, which is often very different than the mfg's cameos, and what layouts are being used by the aforementioned stars on the different balls.

More low-rev vids would be great, but also a lot more slow-motion vids. Ball Reviews Canada does an excellent job of this, though no low-rev test shots.

and thats correct, we dont have a "low rev" tester. our main goal is to bring consistency to our testing, which basically means we dont want to bring in people for videos that just have the equipment. we want to keep the same testers.

some others that put out reaction vids, just shoot video with a guy that just bought the ball, and fits into the category they are looking for, i.e. low rev, high rev, etc.

We do have a low-mid rev player lined up for our Radical testing, and we are working on the possibility of low-mid rev player for another brand outside of our current line up.

we currently have access to the Brunswick corp balls (brunswick, dv8, radical). the people that we are looking at bringing on have their own deal with other companies.

while we would like have just one tester throw everything, its not possible at the moment. we want to bring other brands, and this seems the best way to do it for now. our viewers and subscribers grow every day, and for just starting this year we are off to a great start, so it might change in the future.

as for the original Nightmare vs the endless, i cant really answer that in regards to being drilled the same. the original nightmare we tested was drilled slightly different, since it was a personal ball when we first started.
