Title: Vis-A-Ball Question
Post by: MI 2 AZ on January 27, 2004, 05:52:28 PM
What happens when the ball has to be resurfaced?  Is the image lost?

The answer is not completely.  It kind of looks faded.  We had to try and resurface one about a year ago due to lane damage.  The image stays but looks very light.  We had someone come in that was familiar with the process and did it.  My suggestion is if you own one for the graphics don't bowl with it.  It is a bowling ball and will get beat up if used.  That's one of the reasons we carry very very few of them.

I just keep my polished up and cleaned.  Brunswick says not to resurface it.  Since I only use mine for 10-pins, it is in pretty good shape even after a year of use.

Doesnt sound like something you would want to pick up used and have to have it plugged and redrilled.  Thanks.
