What's the difference in college bowling...
« on: April 12, 2009, 08:14:35 PM »
Other than the name obviously, what's the difference between the NCAA Women's National Championship (just won by Nebraska) and the Intercollegiate Team Championships, which Nebraska isn't even in.  I thought maybe it had something to do with Division I vs II, etc., but that isn't it because they said Central Missouri would have been the first Division II or III team to win the NCAA Tournament.

Is one more prestegious than the other?

NCA Women's National Championship consists of NCAA teams only!  Intercollegiate Team Championships are club teams (Wichita, Central Florida, McKendree, Pikeville, Lindenwood, etc.

In my opinion, the Intercollegiate Team Championships has much more talent.
