Vise grips
« on: February 17, 2009, 11:13:06 AM »
So i purchased a new ball today, Storm Dimension and was talked into trying the new vise grips.  I was told up and down that everyone who tried them was adding revs and raising avg. like 10 pins.  I decided to give them a try.  My questions are they feel very snug to what i am used to but i was told thats how they should fit, and what is everyone elses experience with them so far.  I havnt thrown the new ball yet with them but i have league tomarrow night so i'll go a couple hours early and try to get a few in before hand to see what its like.

There's snug, and there's tight.  Be sure you are on the snug side.  I stayed after league the other night and found out just how bad having them tight is in my 5th or 6th game of the night.  I think the ball landed at about the 40 foot mark.  Tried to take my finger with it down the lane.

Other than that, I absolutely love them.  I don't know about adding revs or pins but I feel much more consistent with them.

Not every grip company's sizes run the same.
