Vise Hada Patches
« on: April 09, 2010, 01:10:21 PM »
For those that use Vise Hada Patches, can anyone tell me if there is much difference between #1-blue and #2-red? I have been using #1-blue exclusively, wondering if #2-red is really helps with a little slower release as stated, and if it is any thicker? Thanks.

This may not be too much help, but I'll try.  I've been using the #1 blue for a long time now.  I started with a sample pack that had all 4 colors.  The only ones I tried were the #1 and the #4.  I remember a distinct difference between those two.  The grey was quite a bit thicker and slower than the blue.  Between the red and the blue...not really sure.

I have found since using the blue that the more you stretch it on your thumb, the quicker you get out.  If you want something a bit slower, try applying it without stretching it.  This is assuming that you stretch it now.

I use the red only. I bought a 40 sampler pack awhile back to help me decide. I personally was between the blue and red also. But the red seems a little bit thicker and holds up a little bit better for me. Also I use Benzoin Tincture (sp?) its a pain but I can bowl as many games as I want with no corners rolling up or anything.

I''ve used both.  I find the Red to be nearly the same (as in functionality) as the blue.  Where Blue is micro-thin and Red is every so slightly thicker (feels slightly different as well).  You will not have a problem with your thumb exiting if that''s your area of concern.  There is a considerable difference using the other colors.

As always, great replies, I ordered the red this time around.  Thanks again.
