Lane 1
« on: November 29, 2009, 12:58:45 PM »
No not the bowling ball.

Why does it seem that the Lanes near the wall are dryer.  What effect would a wall have on the oil with the lane?   Especially with lane 1.   Even if they re-oil or oil them at the very end, it seems to be much drier.

thanks

Its not the wall.  Its the  machine and the person running the machine.  The machine has to prime itself and should be run on lanes 1 - 4, then go back and reoil 1 and 2.  But most centers don't do that.  So there ya go.

Also if there is a door from the back by lane 1 then you could be getting a draft from the back. I used to work at my local center and saw this frequently.

It is right next to an outside door and the door to go down back

My centre has its door to the rear section down near lane 20, 1 and 2 has been everything from dead easy to bad-ass this yr. 19-20 is kind of our 1 and 2 most of the time. 1 and 2 is jammed up against a wall and thats an adventure in itself!!!!
