I was doing my weekly practicing today and I decided to try something new. Normally, in my backswing I keep a decent amount of pressure in my wrist with a slight cupping through the release. Today I flattened out my wrist completely (like shooting a 10 pin) and relaxed it up till the release and at the bottom of the swing got my hand under the ball. My speed picked up 2-3 mph and my revs actually increased. I had a few balls that I dropped and didn't get through but with enough practice I think I just made an awesome change to my game. Has anyone tried this or messed around with wrist tension in the backswing?
