Title: Visionary---Where to buy?
Post by: Juggernaut on April 21, 2016, 07:52:12 AM
Got a couple of guys looking at maybe trying out a Visionary ball, but they've become harder and harder to find.

Anybody know of an outlet where they can be had?

If they don't necessarily need/want to try something from the current offerings....they can get balls from bowlersdream.  They don't have the ravens & the warlocks but they have 15 balls  that range  from the mixed breed to the glads & the ogres & the amb's & the immortal solid, & even the g3 gyphon & the b/g centaur  & the slate gargoyle.

I have a Slate Blue, IMO it's the best urethane ball ever made.  It's discontinued and they only have it in 16 lb, it's also fairly expensive.  But if you want a really good urethane . . .   --  JohnP

This place, Bowlers Cellar,
http://www.bowlerscellar.com/apps/webstore/ (http://www.bowlerscellar.com/apps/webstore/)
sells many current and past/retired Visionary balls. He also sells on EBay, once in a while.
He also sells old Banger brand balls which were made by Visionary.
All balls are NIB, as far as I know.

I didn't realize that bowlerscellar was back.....everytime I had checked the page said they were redoing their website...the link Jeff gave was different than what I always used to use to get to their web store.

If you click on their home page link it has the redoing website notice.  I suspect the link above is to an out of date page.  --  JohnP

. Thanks for the info guys.  They are actually looking for the Warlock XV.  I will look into some of the outlets you have mentioned, and see what I can come up with.

My link, John??
I brought it up when I typed that one and again just now, 12:05 AM Friday., 4/22. It displays fine. I click on random balls and they bring up their web pages.
Their Home page displays that message; but the webstore display the balls fine.

I am thinking that the pages other than the home page are out of date.  I suppose it could be that the home page is out of date and the others are current.  Have you tried ordering something?  --  JohnP
