As I read this thread, I cant help but laugh to myself. I know plenty of people that smoke pot, but they do so in their own homes. I do not want people smoking pot during league for a variety of reasons that have already been pointed out. It smells like crap, its illegal, and it just shows that they have no regard for the law or others around them.

I am not some 50 year old getting on a soap box, I am only 20. But my age plays no role in my opinion of people who have such a blatant disregard for the law. If you want to smoke pot, do it AT HOME. I come to league night to bowl with adults, not people who feel they need to use drugs for a bowling league. I mean for god sakes people, if you can't go 2 hours without getting high, you have a serious problem. Why is it that stoners think nobody can smell it? I live in a college apartment complex, you can smell the pot being smoked 2 floors below you, its potent, its obvious, and it stinks. Thank god the police usually deal with these people. Smack a fine on them if they want to keep smoking pot.

I also cant help but laugh at the fact that so many people use the most lame arguments for the fact that smoking pot is ok. "Illegal lane change", "speeding", etc. Grow up, that is the weakest response I have ever heard. Maybe my thoughts were shaped by the fact that I grew up with a dad who was a cop, and a law abiding family. Who knows. I guess I am glad about one thing, my dad works on an anti-drug task-force now and kicks the doors down on drug dealers houses and storms in with fully automatic weapons. Can you imagine the look on their faces? Glad to know drugs are worth all that.

Some people need to grow up. I'm 20, and more mature than a lot of people in this thread. There is a time and a place for everything, and during a 2 hour bowling league is neither the time nor place.
