What is so wrong with lane#1? I have never thrown one but more then half of the posts are people argueing about them. I know there is a bad and good to everything,but to me they do seem a little pricey but then I hear how good they are. Just a stupid question.

Nothing is wrong with Lane #1...they're just bowling balls. Some people have gotten their panties in a bunch over the typical marketing hype Lane #1 has used. Most of the comments back and forth have just been propogated by those who like to stir up shit.

As far as cost goes, it seems like they use higher grade resins or a thicker coverstock...though I could be wrong. I only owned one (Solid Uranium) and it didn't match up well for me, but it was obviously a very durable ball.

I think part of it also stems from what was probably a bad batch of Buzzbombs. When they didn't hook they blamed it on static weights rather than manning up to the possibility of a bad batch. I know they replaced a few and they hooked fine. To me they make good stuff it's just overpriced. But thats just my opinion
