Yep,

I bowled against a guy who is righty and throws a backup ball down the left, quite well I might add.

One day next to me he went 300- 806 in a tourney.

He could also hook it righty and I saw him playing righty quite a bit the last couple of years.
I wonder if that means anything?

A few weeks ago I had a guy (righty) start crying about how easy I had it being a lefty.  He said, "Every lefty who can hit a 6 board area can average220".  I looked at him and said "How many lefties do you have on your team? None.  Doesn't that show that you are a idiot?  Don't you want to win?  Isn't this league a team deal?  How come you don't have 3 or 4 lefties on you team if it's that easy?"

End of conversation.

Maybe we should change this Topic to "wrong siders" and "right siders" to give it a different look.

Last night:  league.  3 lefties on my pair including me.  I showed up late due to a stupid work situation, so I only bowled 2 games.  Me and the other lefty on my team average 205-213.  The lefty on the opposing team averages about 194 or so.

My teammate shoots 540 something.  Opposing team's lefty shoots 520 something.  For my 2 games I shoot 159-204.  The 159 I attribute to getting there late, no warm up, etc.  The 204 could just as easily have been a 244.  It looked like this:

9/  9/  9-  X  9-  9/  9/  X  X  XXX

19 38  47  66  75  94 114 144 174 204

Besides being terribly aggravated that I missed 2 single pin spares, I got tapped to pure death in my last game.  First shot in the hole - solid 8.  Next shot in the hole - ring 7.  Next shot Brooklyn (duh) - 2 pin *whiff*.  Solid 7 - ditch.  Solid 7.  Solid 7.  Finally got the right adjustment - sheet.

Horrible over-under.  Shot was crap.  Screaming on the outside 5.  No hold area.  Just a sucky night to be a left hander.  Had anyone told me last night that lefties have it easier, they would have had to go to the hospital to have my MoRich Minotaur removed from their esophagus.
