You know, slow day at work, school, home, what have you.  So you take out a piece of paper, and write down all of the equipment you own, analyze what condition it's for, how its drilled, etc.  Then toy around with other options, like finding holes in your arsenal, or finding overlap, or writing down balls to replace the reaction that you have with a certain one?  It actually passes the time quite nicely, as I can do this for like 2 hours straight.  It's pretty fun to me.

Don't make me feel like I'm crazy, there's gotta be other people that do this.

Thats sounds like not only a good time passer but a good tool to find out what you need instead of trying to think about it all in your head.

I do that all the time in my head! Its pretty sad but like you said it sure does pass the time.

Wow, i'm not the only one!
I do this all the time at school or home.  I write down all the bowling balls I have, then put where the new balls would fit in my arsenal.  Its fun, until I realize that I cant afford any more balls .

I go you one better (or worse depending on if you are a glass 1/2 empty or glass 1/2 full kind guy)...

I did that once and listed EVERY BALL I EVER OWNED!!!!!!!!

I do it whenever the teach is jabbing on about the lesson at hand.. and while we take notes, and i miss the notes, bad bad me.

I do this, but only once or twice a year. Just to see where I have holes if any. OR to see what equipment I need to clean out, seeings how I am starving for space!

I would say in the 7 plus months I've been coming to this site, I think at least once a month about what holes I have in my arsenal and what I would need to be able to hit all the tournaments and leagues I bowl in...

Too bad I lack the finances at these times when I have the ideal arsenal in place.

That brings back memories of study hall.  Forget math or spanish homework, I needed to know what stuff was going to the next tournament.  Good times.
