I bought a #14 pro pin Cell from Allstar Bowling off EBay and while checking the tracking number I noticed the shipping weight was #17. Now I'm worried that it's a #16 ball and I'm going to have to go thru a whole bunch of baloney to get the right ball. I'm glad I paid with a credit card in case this whole thing goes sour.

I shipped a single drill 15# ball yesterday that was double boxed and it weighed out at 17#. I even had them re-zero the scale and weigh it again just to make sure.

I just had a 14# shipped that showed 15.5 on the tracking which worried me. It was indeed 14.

Packaging always adds weight to the item.  Plus, shipping weights always get rounded up.  17 pounds shipping weight is very reasonable for a ball that weighs just over 14 pounds, plus one or two layers of cardboard box and any other packing materials.  This would put it just a tick over 16 pounds possibly, so the ship weight gets rounded up to 17.

Thanks for the hope. This is the third ball I've bought from Allstar, never had a problem yet but it appears others have.
