plastic pins. need some feedback.

I dont have enough proof that they are "better" but i do know they are suppose to last longer. can anybody else give me feedback about them. such as the reaction off of them or say how long they last in comparison to wooden pins anything. dont leave oh the suck or yea they are a beast. i want details about them. i want to know why you either hate them or love them

I assume your talking about twister pins?  When my center put them in my average went from 230 to 250.  But soon after my center took them out and put wood back in because there was getting to be to many jams and dead woods. 
 Iloved them, other high average bowlers were complaining about them because they were leaving more splits with the twisters then with the wood.  They seemed in my opinion they got a little more bounce and role from them.  My center caters to the ass kissers who when they complain they do there best to make them happy, therefore when they complained about twisters, they put wood back in.

our bowling center is not doing to great. the owners are complete idiots and have no idea about bowling. I mentioned the twisters to them because i have used them before. and they do work great even at all angles to the pocket. i heard that if you clean them monthly, it will help keep them front jamming. but i figured the dead wood would happen still because of the livelimess in them... but anyways im trying to convince these people that when the center gets new pins, by the way they currently using 3year old wooden pins, that they should get the the twisters. i figure more bowlers would go bowl because of "how much better they bowl there". but i need as much info about them as possible.

 Those pins are terrible for the sport. Period. THS and Twisters=Training Wheels. Only adds fuel to the pussy mentality "there are no losers only winners" in sports these days. They fly around all over the place make you think your great and powerful.Got  news for you, you're not, and you don't really have 800 friends outside of your Facebook life. lMAO!!!!! Ciao!

agreed beermug. but im not talking about people who bowl for those purposes that you have listed. im talking the BUSINESS ASPECT OF IT. will the pin reaction and life of these pins make a bigger profit for the center? and from what i am seeing. these pins are great with amf machines and not so great with brunswick. and im so trying to figure out if people are sayin oh these pins suck because they didnt like the advantage weaker bowlers had or if there is problem with the way the machines handle them.  ...... that is the reason i am asking people for their personal feedback.

 The center I work at converted to twisted pins probably 3 months ago. We are a extremely busy alley. Very strong league attendance and a strong open play house. The pins were chosen completely on durability. I have absolutely not seen these flying "cheater" pins that a few people have been talking about. Are averages did not go up nor down but remained relatively on the level. We have AMF pinsetters and we did have change some distributer belts to a more tacky belt from misfeeds and pins not traveling well across them. Other than that they have been great and seem to be holding up rather well. We will see how they are a year from now. The wood pins only made it about a season before deteriorating.
