Many years ago I bowled (never for action, luckily for him) against Rocky during match play in a couple of tourneys in NY (Kegler, SI Singles Classic, Jim Lustig's, etc.), and he was a very decent shooter back then, but I always kicked his little arse whenver we faced.

As for Joe Stillman, I remember him as a kid, big and strong, trying to get as much mustard on the ball as possible. One day he looks my way as if to challenge me, then asks if he could join me on my pair for a little practice, and I knew he was sizing me up bowling-wise, so I proceeded to rip him apart, and at the end of the session he thanked me, and went his merry way.  Every other time after that, he was very polite and humble and never even dared try to challenge me.

Steve Chiarella, on the other hand, is a really nice guy, who can bowl with the best of them. Those 2 guys mentioned above couldn't hold Steve's jockstrap either in tournament play or action games--Steve is a winner, as evidenced by several tournament victories to his name.

well, there's 4 minutes I'll never get back. I can't stand listening to the guy ramble on and couldn't even finish it.

I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't use or need bowling talent to win these bets.. sounds like he will pull out every trick in the book to win the game..
powder on the approach, loud distractions in the middle of your shot, lane man with air hose in the back..
don't trust a weasel..
