Florida bowler rolls 817 and 857 on back-to-back nights in 2 centers

Mike Aleshire of North Port, Fla., blistered the pins for back-to-back series of 817 and 857 over the past two nights in different centers.

He rolled a perfect game to open his series on Monday, and then followed with 11 strikes (games of 279, 299, 279 and 279) in four of his next five games, with the other "below-average" game being a 238.

No, but keep in mind that Aleshire is averaging higher in both of those summer leagues than Mushtare did in the junior league in which he bowled three 900 series.

In response to the bowling balls he was using ... Mike was using the Don Carter Major 52 and the Don Carter Wise Man (Storm products).

Like to make the statement that Mike is legit. I bowled with him in Junior leagues at Sarasota Lanes. He was always a hell of a doubles partner and a great teammate. Congrats Mike! You deserve everything that comes to you. BUT I WILL STILL KICK YOUR BUTT!!!!!!  Your friend, Chuck
