How effective is moving a few inches one way or the other on the approach?  Never really adjusted forward / backwards before...

you could be using a to aggressive ball if the heads start to burn up your ball will lose energy causing you to lose energy try another ball

^^ that's my question.  At my house (granted during league), I typically make moves of at least 2 boards at a time with my feet and sometimes make 3-1 or 4-2 adjustments.

I guess the video wasn't talking g about this, but rather if you are lined up and not carrying, then maybe a small tweak can make a difference?

I tend to move my eyes closer to get the ball to roll earlier or further down the lane to project the ball better.  Guess it's just another option to consider?

I normally do lateral moves on weak tens after I make sure I threw it right. Some times it's my release.
