Ok, I've been thinking about the "old days of bowling" lately, and have a few questions. First off, I see old bowling clips, and such, and see people playing lines relatively close to todays. I've seen people play at like 20, in older clips, and I got to thinking, they were throwing plastic/rubber then, what did they do differently to make the ball hook??? A high rev player these days can throw a rubber ball and hook it maybe 5-10 boards, but back then average people were hooking half the lane. What was different in there style/release and all that, that allowed the ball to hook, whereas now-a-days those balls are nothing more then straight spare balls? Like I said Im sure bones can answer this, but anyone can chime in.
