weakest of the three
« on: June 16, 2015, 07:56:33 AM »
I am looking for a ball to go right above my true blood. I love playing down and in with the true blood. The balls I am looking at are the storm ride, columbia deep freeze, and motiv rebel tank. I can usually start using the true blood around the 2nd and 3rd game of league. Basically I want the same look for game 1.  Any other balls or suggestions.

Weakest of the 3 will be the Rebel Tank since it's a urethane. Then Ride then the Deep Freeze.

Rebel Tank for sure. I'm loving mine so far. It will give you a much more similar look to the True Blood than any resin ball. Perfect ball for down and in.

If you like the True Blood I would look at the Hammer Viral. I know it's not one of the balls you listed but I have both of them and am very pleased that I purchased them. The Hammer Viral for me though is a transitional ball that I use after the lanes have started breaking down, but from what you describe I can see you starting off games with the Viral if you have the appropriate drilling.

I can almost line my ride up with my blue hammer.  Very tame

I ended up getting the rebel tank. I am very impressed so far. Several people have told me that a urethane won't carry as well as a reactive. I don't see that so far. I have been throwing it up the 5 board at about 17.5 mph. It completely destroys the rack. This ball is great for playing down and in.
