I say as a tribute to Thongprincess, everyone help a newbie or get someone who doesn't bowl into bowling as a way of spreading the sport she loved!

Done deal. My neighbor has a couple kids who he takes to the lanes every then and again. I'll see what he can do about getting them into the local league, and I'll take them over to the pro shop to get their bowling sickness started.

Great idea. TP would have it no other way.
 
I promise to pay for some junior bowlers' practice games this summer, and if they ask it will be compliments of Colleen. Any other ideas?

WOW, sorry to hear this.

I seem to have taken a group of kids under my wing on Sunday afternoons. We are pushing to get "high school bowling state sanctioned" and I am deeply involved in this cause. In 4 weeks I have taught 3 kids to throw a hook. One was at 137 (straight ball) this week (his first in league throwing hook) not even his own ball..... shoots 144, 156, 167. way above average. Now it seems like I have taken on whole new meaning to the kids... I love it!!!!
