Well, considering these are two totally different kinds of balls, it's not really a fair comparison. The Complete NV is more angular (a strong pearl from my understanding), while the Grand Illusion is smoother and more rolly (a medium-strength solid). Just from the limited time I got to throw one during a Storm/Rotogrip Open House, I feel the Grand Illusion is one of the most underrated medium oil balls on the market right now. It's very, very predictable and versatile, with above-average carry thanks to a very continuous motion. It's got a motion very similar to the Cell, just several boards weaker and capable of handling more friction without burning up.
