Weird first night of league
« on: September 01, 2009, 06:23:49 PM »
Hello all, I have not posted in a while but have also just gotten back into league after about a two year layoff.

I start out practice with a pretty good feel, but end up loosing my shot as soon as I start my first game.  I end up shooting a 168 (omg pull head from *** asap).  Well did'nt quite do the last note and shoot even lower with a 148, (I know, you don't have to say it).  Around the 7th frame of the second game I pick up my Magnum 44 as I had been for the previous 3 frames.  I get up and throw my shot and I had like no revs on it (I am a cranker), then I noticed my thumb slug was still on my thumb.  I know it is more common that I first thought, but the first time for me.  I end up going to my locker and got and old ball I have not used in years with a bigger thumb hold and I finish with a 221.  The funniest thing was I ended the summer league with much lower average than I expected of 179, then I end up setting that average and shooting a 200 in the mix.  Such a great bowler I am, lol.

For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Et Spiritus Sancti."
