For those that have ever ran a Pro-shop or bowled everyday all their lives, got burned out and left the sport....I know how you feel.
I was running a pro-shop for a Pro-Shop chain in Nashville and doing it 50 hours a week for 9 months and finally I snapped and got tired of it all. I have been out of bowling for 8 months now and find myself missing it now. My friends that bowl still call me and ask me for advice and at first I told them that I didn't really want to talk about bowling. Now when they ask I just jump right in it as if I never took any time off at all. I hope that one day I can get back in to working in a reputable shop like the one I worked in, but until then I guess I will just come on here and shoot the breeze with you guys.
Guys bowling is the greatest sport on the face of the earth (other that Tennessee Football) there is and I just hope I can get back into it someday.
