turkey, 2 count, 4 bagger, 2 count, i don't even remember the score, and a game later i had another 2 count and the third game i had 2 more

I was playin a 20 out to 3 line it was real wet and there was a huge bumper outside of 5, if i didn't catch it or got it out too late it would just skid and at the last second flip over to take out the 4 and 8 for me.

i think i left 5 or 6 two counts total in that set, and haven't done it since.

Well, I'm not sure it's appropriate to discuss in a family forum... LOL

I think I was 13 or so when I got PO'd at leaving a 10 pin.  Grabbed a 9lb. houseball and threw it as hard as I could at it (think I was usually throwing 12 or 13 lb stuff at the time)...  Remember the old Brunswick machines where part of the sweep arm hung down over the gutter?  Well, the ball went into the gutter then flipped up into the air (kinda like a water skier launching off of a wave - if that makes sense) and right into that bar.  2/3 of the ball went on into the pit... the other 1/3 lay there in the gutter.  Surprisingly, it was a clean cut - no shattering.  Fortunately, the place was owned by my Dad and he didn't see it happen since he was busy doing something else.

deadwood laying at 35 feet, i throw my spareball at it, i miss badly it falls in the gutter right at the deadwood, hits the deadwood, pops out and goes dead flush strike

other i shot a 7 pin, crushed it, it pops out so hard straight up and knocks the sweep off whatever its attached to.

i shot somethin or other, hit it, my spare ball double hits and comes back out and rolls all the way back to the foul line.

last one my friend shot a 10 pin, brought it out comes straight down the lane and stops at the dots on the approach. he then proceeded to call in deadwood. the kid came up and saw it and just started bustin up

I had a 7-10 standing and threw my spare ball as hard as I could at the 10. The pin bounced out of the pit and back onto the pindeck, actually hit the 7 and spun it around about 3 times, but it didn't fall.  I just stood there yelling at the 7.  I was calling it a coward and crap like that.

I can't remember if you did that when I was bowling with you but I have seen it done one time.

Well i have a couple weird occurances.

First, I was at our local bowling house just practicing, and i have my line down just fine. but my next shot i kinda set the ball real wide and it went in the gutter at the arrows, ball jumped back out, went back on the line i'd been shooting.  and STILL hooked in to the pocket and just crushed the pins.  I was playing down and in.  NOW THAT'S A WALL!!!

the other night at the same bowling house i was struggling really badly.  finally had rolled a decent shot and it hit just a tad high on the head pin. (usual 4 pin leave) well i leave the 4 pin and the headpin bounced off the wall and nailed it, it slid forward and to the right until it was in front of and to the right of the headpin.  The sweep came down and it was behind the sweep but when the deck came down to pick up the pin the pin was completely out of the way.  so unfortunately i couldn't keep the pin there and show everyone.  the only person who got to see it was the friend that was bowlign with me. but that pin must had slid a good solid 3-4 feet and still stood up. AND this house usually keeps their backends fairly dry.

While shooting at a 6-10-7 split with a pin in the gutter, the ball falls off the lane at just the right moment to hit the pin, which sends the ball bouncing accross the lane, and on the rails of the ball return, meaning, the ball came right back to me through the ball return.  Freakin funny ask heck when it happened.  

A friend of my was having a bad game, and got really pissed while throwing at a ten pin, however unknown to us, some debri from the machine fell into the gutter just ahead of where the 10 pin was.  The ball hit the debri and went straight up into the machine (my friend is a power bowler), causing the machine to crash down onto the lane.  It took a 2 inch gouge about an inch deep out of his detonator.  I'm not sure the of the exact damage to the pinsetter, but I never seen anything quite like that.

Another person bowling at the same bowling alley a week early threw a similar type shot, except this went up prior to the pin setter, breaking the signage.

Needless to say, we don't bowl at that house anymore.  Not because of what we did, but the damage to our equipment was unreal on a regular basis.
