I found the same problem so moved way to the left on the approach so I could try a totally new oil line with limited success. It also opened up the possibility of losing a few into the gutter, which I hate. My idea was to stay on the oil as long as possible to create a deeper skid before the ball hooked into the pocket.
However, I have discovered that the longest part of the oil pattern is down the middle, so I will now try coming inside a little further - try it yourself in practice - bowl a couple straight down the middle and you will see a lot less boards covered.
Armed with this knowledge, I will experiment with new lines to the pocket.
