What a Resource!
« on: June 20, 2003, 11:51:11 PM »
Just wanted to say that this site is awesome! I find myself looking at the reviews less and less and just reading what the bowlers have to say.

Infact, there is a post out there right now about balls being stolen. There 2-3 people that stepped up to offer free equipment for a person that is having financial problems right now.
Bowlers are great. For every 1 jerk there is probably 10 great people.

As far as the resource area where my post first began, ask anything and some kind person steps up and gives you the answer to he best of their ability. In other areas of the forum, offer your opinion and someone steps up to offer theirs. Even if the opinions differ greatly, you now have an opinion from 2 sides that usually represent each side very well.

This site is awesome. Better than any bowling magazine can offer. People helping others with their game, equipment, even the mental approach to the game.

Excaliber, try to get to one of the gatherings and you'll really find out how great the people on this site are.  I've been to one in NC and also bowled the Hoinke with a group from this site.  Both were fantastic experiences.  As great as they are behind the computer, they're even more wonderful in person!

Well said.
I'll tell you something, Im disabled and only recently found this fun and challenging sport.
It is one that you can play with many physical problems, however that is not the main reason why I play.
I think the main reason is the comeradarie that you get during league nights and the fun that this turns into.
I dont know whether I would be competing as I do if it were not for this site, therefore I would not be having the enjoyment in my life that this game has brought.
Im not sure if you guys and gals realise how much you improve peoples lives in general with all the free tips, encouragement and wonderful insights into this great game.
I know mine has felt better since finding this site as Ive said so on numerous occasions.
Its nice to see that many others are in the same boat as to say.
If any of you are ever in the UK and around my area feel free to let me know and I will definatly show you some UK hospitality.
Thanks all of you and keep spreading the word, FUN its what everyone wants and only the lucky ones achieve.
Oh by the way Excaliber did you say they have reviews on this site???
