Obviously Pine Plains must be hands down the easiest house. Especially if you pre-bowl.

Brunswick Zone Lilburn here....just this season though.  The Monday mens' league has 32 teams in it and about 30 guys averaging 220 or better.  I subbed this week and saw why....threw the ball EVERYWHERE but where I was looking and shot 645 (threw it 540 good).

We have an all lefty house..

ThunderBowl #1 Ft. Wayne Indiana

My coach is a lefty, averages 240 there.
Comes to the other house we bowl at only 187.

Only 1 right handed 300 in the house, the rest of the high series' and 300 are from lefties.

you can be the most in consistent bowler ever, but if your left handed this house just works wonders.

And this is why bowling centers should be rated and sloped just like golf courses. That way the averages could be adjusted up or down according to how easy or hard the particular center is. This would also potentially eliminate sandbagging by bowling at a really hard house to keep a low average.

The problem with this is there are variables in bowling that don't exist in golf.  Golf courses don't change other than green speed and rough height.  Bowling centers change the shot and the machine over time changes.  The house I listed above wasn't quite as easy 3 years ago.

I bowled there for the state finals 2 and 3 years ago, and even on the modified shot, it was still very easy once you got the right angle down.  Pins just fly all over there.
