I need help making a ball decision !!!
« on: December 26, 2007, 04:01:08 AM »
My wife says I can get a new ball for Xmas, I have it sown to 3 choices. Nsane RG, Momentum and Black Widow. I need something with some length and backend to go between my Infinite One and Black Widow Pearl. My arsenal is on my profile if needed.

I just bought the GForce Supernova and love it.  It revs alot and has big hook while shredding racks.  The confidence i have in this ball unmatched.  It is very strong and rev crazy... I dont think the NSane is that hooking of a ball from what i have seen.

If you have the Pearl widow, it only makes sense to get the Solid Widow.

the n'sane and momentum will usually get more length. for me, i'd take either the levrg or momentum with a strong layout.

I second this remark.
Disclaimer: I have not thrown either ball myself, but I see plenty in BOTH home houses. They seem to make a good one-two combo.

LevRg is a very strong ball just used one tonight with a usually weak layout for me and it was very strong and would turn the corner with ease. It was sanded to 4000 abralon and hit with polish and it was still a monster. My total shock & awe was only a few boards stronger but its sanded to 400 grit with a very strong layout. I think it would be great if you wanting to use on a heavy house shot or sport patterns. I'm getting in my Nsane this Friday hopefully and I think its going to be stronger then the levrg that my friend has at the same finish just the nsane is a pearl as to a solid polished. We will see about that. But the LevRg is a great ball but so is the Total Shock & Awe.

If your looking for a strong ball look no farther then a Morich, trust me you won't be disappointed!

Just throwing out there that the new black widow bite is "supposed" to be a few boards stronger than the original.  I've never seen one go down the lane yet b/c it isn't out, but its an option depending on how strong of a ball you want and if you want to wait.

I have the Ok to get something new. I'm trying to find something with more length for the heavier stuff to play around my Infinite One @ 500. I have IO, then TNV, BWP, then Angular One. What do I need for a Med-Hvy house shot that won't overlap anything else I have. As stated I'm leaning BW, BW Bite or Momentum. I'd love a resurgance, but I think it's too strong.

n'sane LevRG is the best caring ball I have ever seen or thrown. me and two others in my league have one we all are totally different bowlers and tonight in league I shot 795 other two had 735 and 737 respectively. it is a heavy oil shot with clean backends. Get this ball and you will not throw anything else, you will just ajust with the ball because the cary is second to none.
