Most overated ball ever= rotogrip cell. 200 bucks down the drain, was so sensitive to speed and any oil, hated this ball! which ball was your biggest let down?

I didn't like the Absolute Inferno.  I know a lot of people loved that ball and shot award scores with it...but it never worked for me.

That and the Strike Zone have convinced me to never roll a Brunswick ball agian....just not for me.

Again, it doesn''''''''t make the ball a POS.

Tried two different layouts and a few different surfaces as well. Just never matched up with it, no matter what I did. OP was asking what ball was YOUR(being each individual) biggest let down and because of all the time and money I wasted on this ball, it was my biggest let down.

bvp golith

more recent...  Twisted Fury Destruction..... it worked and i'll admit it worked well for the first 60games then dead dead dead.

By suggestion of brunswick techs i had it put thru a revivor.. nope,  I gave it a bath & resurface  nope.Even went back to the pro shop were i bought and had it drilled not that they were any help would just tell me it was drilled stacked leverage.
normal ball speed was 16 to 18, once it started acting up anything over 15.5 and the ball went straight.

1. El Nino GOLD--Never worked, no matter what I did to it.
2. Lev-RG-- Again, nothing I did could make this ball work for me.

Brunswick original monster. no matter the volume never moved.
Storm ElNino exit................ worst ball in history. I think there was a timer inside the core. Punched in when it wanted punched out when it wanted. (insert sound of me scratching my head and crickets).

Exactly. The question was what was YOUR biggest let down. Not what is the worst ball. Mine was the twisted fury. Not because it was bad or didn't match up ect. It was because I hadn't bought a ball for 4 years and before that I just bought balls that my pro shop guy said to buy. Which was only 3 in 10 years. For the twisted fury I did research and watched videos and bought the ball I thought was the best. I had 0 clue what I was doing. Ill show you how bad it was. I narrowed it down to a twisted fury a attitude shift and a black widow pearl. 3 different balls essentially. Bought the twisted because I thought it would hook outta the house. Of course it didn't so I assumed the ball sucked. I sold it to a guy who bowls on my team. He never got it redrilled so I can throw it, and on the right condition I shoot lights out. But for the half year I rolled it I thought it was a dud.
Since then I have bought 7 balls that I bought for a purpose not because it was the end all ball. Thanks to all of yalls wisdom!

Raw Hammer Toxic.  It seemed that the cover on that thing lent it to being the most over under ball there ever has been to me.

Biggest NIB disappointment was my Smash Zone. Very good length through the heads, but very sensitive to me in the mid lane. Coverstock was too aggressive for my style, and the RG too low. Could not makw it work consitently, even after surface experiments. It also rolled a bit funky, not sure whether the core was a bit out of shape. Quickly sold it.

From used balls, both an X-Factor RE-Loaded and a HPD Danger Zone were surprising turds. The X-Factor had to be re-sanded every 3 games to give it some grip, and the HPD just did react as if it had a life on its own, from shot to shot. Weird - but used balls, so I am not sure what former owners did to them?

Black Widow Bite

I just never got a consistent reaction out of it. Tried 3 drills and different surfaces on each, just never matched up to what I was bowling on.
