What balls look impressive in your area?

What balls look impressive in the region that you bowl in? Double points for balls from a company that you wouldn't normally throw.

I've been very impressed with the Vapor Zone and Katana/Katana Slash. I'm also more and more surprised at the useability of the Purple Hammer for a lot of high rev crowbar styles. I'm seeing high rpm guys have the ability to park it in one spot all night and just throw it harder to get the corners out.

How about you guys?

In my usual league/house, the one ball I've seen that always looks great is the Sure Lock. That ball can make monsters out of mere mortals.
In my other house where I practice and bowl in a clinic, the entire Jackal line has looked the best.

After Dark Pearl, Honey Badger, Halo, Physix, Crux Prime, Vapor Zones, and Tenacity Grits look really good around me. Definitely a lot of diversity though.

White Hot is just starting to make its runs and they look really good when they get a track going in the cover.

You've got to be loving this Doom. This is the most people I've ever seen talking about 900 Global on here. I'm hoping they're selling a lot because they've got some great stuff with the After Darks and the Badger series

Oh yeah! Glad you brought that up! I've seen one guy in my Friday morning league throwing an After Dark pearl and he is a fluffer, low average guy....but this ball makes him seem more than competent!

Another guy is a low average guy as well and all of a sudden he's been putting up honor scores with a damn EON!! I had never heard of it til I saw his scores!

Tons of idols. Idol pearls in upstate New York. Idol pearl to strong in league for me. I prefer tour iq solid.
