meaning how long they last before they die and need resurfacing

Alot of this will very depending on the player and the surface they bowl on. A few years back when I would use my Roto Grip Epic saga, I bowl mostly on old wood lanes, I would have to resurface it after every 15 games or so. The same was true for my Morich stuff, and most of my stuff that was higher performance equipment. Yet stuff that was lower end from multiple companys didnt need anything done for a while. Stuff like my Track solution power plus Ex, didnt need tended to as much or as often.

+1 for this.  The better the lanes/return machine, the easier they are on your gear.  That plus how well you maintain your gear will dictate a ball's life expectancy.

Lane masters/ Legends first, then Visionary.

For typical covers, I would say 900 global/ AMF and Brunswick.

As for the longevity thing, it seems to me that visonary and lane masters are the most durable, longest lasting covers on the market currently.

Chipmunk, why do you ask this question, then answer it yourself?  It is a question asking peoples opinions, and you state that you think it is brunswick, so, if you already think that, why ask others?

Do you wait till your car dies before doing a tune up or oil change???

If you wait till your ball dies before doing a resurface job, your waiting too long.....

Draw the oil out every 15-20 games....
Wet sand or polish every 6 -12 games...

If you do this,  there really is less need to resurface....

Lane Master and Vissionary????  Ya like I see tons of them on the lanes.....

Here on planet Earth, I see Storm, Hammer, Roto, Columbia and Track.....

Your theory of extracting oil every fifteen to twenty games and refreshing the surface every six to twelve is not something I have never needed to do, personally. I maintain my equipment very well and have never had a ball die on me. I have had balls crack, but never lose their reaction.

HEY CROWN PRINCE BOY,  I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU.

Now there are plenty of others on this site that you can go play your games with....

If you think you know so much about bowling and maintaining balls,  STOP DRIVING A BUS and open a pro shop...

You can call it,  "the crown prince pro shop"

Now go brush up on your Spanish Boy....

Get lost boy, cause you bore me.............

Ring Ring, is that the school bell... Back to class you go boy....

BTW boy,  I did not KNOCK Lane One or Vissionary....

What I said boy was,  I really don't see a lot of them,  actually can't remember the last time I sold one of them...

But I do see real bowlers, not pretend bus drivers, using a lot of Storm, Roto, Track, Hammer and Columbia...

now

are we clear

boy
