I must be missing something. I did not know who won so the suspense factor was still there.

I did not notice the surroundings, or the audience. I guess I was too busy watching what was important to me----the bowlers bowl, the ball reactions, the adjustments being made, etc. That is why I take the time to watch bowling on t.v. If I was looking for aesthetics, I would find an old Baywatch flick, or turn to the adult entertainment channels.
