Bowling ball face-off
« on: May 01, 2004, 09:07:54 PM »
I'm sure some of you have seen "Animal face-off" on TV where they pit two animals together in a simulated fight to see who would win. Let's try bowling ball face-off. Between the Full Throttle, Ultimate Inferno, and Track Animal, which do you think is the better ball? (Also, I am in a summer "have a ball" league so this will help with my choice).

Of the 3, I dont even think that the Full Throttle is even in the same league as the other two. Both the Ultimate and the Animal are very good balls. However, you have more options with the Animal. The drillings on the core alone can give this ball many different looks on the lane, aside from that, the coverstock is very tuneable. Personally, I would go with an Animal.

as far as i'm concerned track has been making the best heavy oil balls ever since they came out with the morpheous (sp?) core.  and yet of the 3 balls the animal is the only one i have not seen on the lane.  my list in order of which one is best to which one is worst...

#1 Track Animal

#2 Columbia Full Throttle

#3 Brunswick Ultimate Inferno (not impressed with this ball at all)

At a couple of tournaments this year I've seen all three of these balls, and I thought the Animal worked best for people who liked to play down and in as well as people who loved to crank and cover a ton of boards...
