How many 300/800's in your center?

The scratch league I used to bowl at has about 30 300 games and 10 800 series.  300 games are about double from last year and 800's are almost tripled.  The season isn't even over yet.
Are bowlers getting better?  House getting easier?

We have had three 300's in our Friday night league. The one bowler has shot two of the 300's in back to back weeks just the last two weeks. He did not bowl 800 in either week and we have not had an 800 series yet.

none & none  this year oiler been on the outs get to shoot lots
of spares  I have high series so far 735
the high average is 201  so far. high game is a 289

7-8 300s
2 800s

They just changed the shot (more longer wider oil), so unless something dramatic happens, that is where the number will end

Only 1 300 in my center so far.  No 800s yet, but a bunch of 700s have been shot.

i bowl in two houses. my men's scratch league is in a house with wood lanes with laneshield overlay. the oil pattern is a top hat. there are MANY 300 games and 800 series. i'm averaging almost 220 with highs of 290 and 774. too much oil inside and too little outside.

the house i bowl my mixed league in has wood lanes but the oil pattern is blended across the lane......much flatter with little crown in the middle. only two 300's in this house( i've got one of them ). i'm actually averaging higher in this house with a high series of 754. there has been one 800 series in this house. only one player averaging over 220( me ).


it's not the balls...it's the oil pattern.
