No doubt about it, it's my driller Rich Broderhausen (but it's a small town).  Rich just recently dropped his  PBA card, can average 230+ on the THS, usually cashes in regionals and knows a boatload about drilling.  He's at least 20 sticks better than whoever is next.

In my town there are two guys I don't like to use their names because I don't know them well enough to know if they would mind.

But they to my eyes are so incredible I love it!  Both throw it perfect.
Smooth, fast, tons of revs beautiful!

Both have specs probably in the 400 rpm range and 17.5 to 19 mph at pin deck.

One of them is an absolute phyisical ox!  The other nothin to him!

Both have over 50 300 games, one in his early 30s has about 70 the other in early 20s has about 50.  Both have over 20 800s.   Young guy has about 30 the older guy probably just near 40 +.

I believe phyisically the ox throws it as good as anybody in the world.

His lane management I don't know how great it is.  Just don't know.

I got to throw next to physical perfection the other day in a tourney and surprisingly I had a better look than he did.  He really couldn't get his powerful ball to fit in the lane.  I could and the left looked better to my eye anyway that day(a rare thing around here).

Should have whupped him.  Close to even.  He looked much better!!  Won't have many chances to keep up with somethin like that!!  Tightened up!  First tournament in about 1 year!

Wichita as well.  This city is full of some truly great bowlers that are PBA champions, ABC eagle winners, Team USA, college All-Americans, ABC hall of fame, etc.  Rash and Bohr are among the elite.

However, my personal favorite is still Rick Steelsmith.  He is considered almost boring because he is ultra polite, but he is a fierce competitor on the lanes.  There is a fire in that belly.  I also admire him for actually trying during our simpleton leagues.  Too many of the other superstars treat our leagues as a joke.  I realize the level of competition is not as good in these leagues, but at least look like your interested to be there.
