What could have been? Unbelievable achievements
« on: October 22, 2008, 03:38:01 AM »
Well last night I was subbing for one of my boys and my other partner, who was the anchor on the team, was running late and told me to put the blind in for the 1st game. Well what happen the 1st game will never happen to me again. I managed to pick up the BIG 4 and 7-10 splits in back to back frames.  I was in total shock but I did make a 7-10 earlier this year. So now Ive pick up the 7-10 twice and finally made the big 4 and I shot like 223. Guess what theres more.

The anchor man shows up in time for the second game and without a warm up  shot.  I told him to play around 2 or 3 arrow and hit somewhere around 7-10 as a breakpoint... He got loosin up and shot a 300. I was like wow but he is a pretty good bowler.  I shot 268 as well and the other 2 shot 212 and 236. Now on to the third game and guess what he shot another 300.  Dayum why did i warm up lol. So the blind doesnt count and he shoot a 600.  So he decides to shoot a 3rd game just to see what would happen and he shot a 268.. So maybe if he was here for the 1st game, he would have shot 868 and had the city record. WOW!!! Overall a good night of bowling and i finished with 223,268, 256 for 747 and 2 split pickups.. A good night of bowling all the way around.

That is pretty sick.  Come in cold, no practice, and go back to back.  VERY IMPRESSIVE.

That is awesome....

Friend of mine relayed this to me...he showed up late for bowling one night...just in time for first frame.

65 in the 5th frame after a couple or few opens.  Double vertical lines.
Sheet....215, sheet 300, sheet 300.  He told the alleys to keep the lights on and in front of about 400 people he shot the last 5 in a row.

He told me that day....(I wasn't there).  "900 is something I could have a bunch of!  But I only bowl once a week"!  He promptly went 289 300 the next week after relaying this story to me!  He was a very strong believer in himself!  I know that!

I've seen better on the lanes as far as actually ball roll!

Don't worry about it.  6th grade will get you ovvvver the hump!

this simple 215(last 7) 300 300 5 in row with a crowd watching.
36 in a row!

Easy...

It does seem rare that you'd pick up the 7-10 and the Big 4 on the same night. Nice job!

300 back to back is also pretty impressive on any condition!
