What do I do if...?

Urethane over/under? Must not be throwing it on the intended conditions. You can always knock the surface down, but urethane's are not a versatile ball.

guffnuh,

I'd suggest a couple of possible "problem" areas.
1. you're using it on too much oil.
2. You have a higher amount of axis tilt than average (20 degrees of more).
3. You're using it improperly on a short, heavy oil, with LOTS and LOT SOf very clean, super dry backends + either too much tilt or too much rotation.

You'd also have had this problem back in the 80s with the short oil most of us were subject to.

If (1), then switch to a dull solid resin, with a low pin.
If (2) or (3), then dull the Natural to a lower grit surface
OR
remove some of the shine you have on it
OR
Move to another house.

What about shine the ever lovin' pi.... out of it, so that it doesn't hook much at all?
