Your bread and butter ball
« on: January 05, 2004, 05:54:26 AM »
What is it?  Ever have a good league night once again with a ball you use nearly every night and sit there and think, "Wow, if I didn't have this ball, what on earth would I be using?" or "If I didn't have this ball, there's no way I'd have just shot that tonight."  ???  Mine's a half dead Fuze Detonator with 600 plus games on it.  Nice and smooth, very predictable, the very definition of what a control ball should be and do.

"I pulled up behind a big rig that had gotten stuck under an overpass, and when the policeman got there, I saw him smile, and thought, 'My God, he can't say it . .'  Sure enough, he asks the trucker, 'Get your truck stuck?'  And bless his heart, without missing a beat, the trucker replied, 'Nope, I was deliverin' this overpass and ran out of gas.'  Here's your sign . . "

I only have 2 balls. A pulse and a matrix tps III. I usually start out with my pulse till the lanes are burnt. Then ill go to the matrix. I have bowled many 650's with the pulse, so i would have to say the pulse. I play the lanes kinda like a Robert Smith. I do leave alot of ten pins though. Any suggestions would be great.

Major toss-up here because I have 3 bread and butter balls.  My Phenom Unleashed, Triple Threat, and my spare ball.  Without that spare ball, I'd only average 210.

Half-Dead Storm Shock Trauma.  Very predictable and decently usable on 80% of the conditions out there.
