What do you feel is your personal best attribute...
« on: November 11, 2004, 04:28:42 AM »
On the lanes.

I just thought it might be nice to see what people think they do the best.  I think mine is I love to watch bowling, I go to the house to just sit and watch.  Elite bowlers, fluffers, newbies, everyone.  I watch what their ball does and try to break down what happened and why.  I feel during leagues, because I watch pretty much every shot on the lanes I can identify when the lanes are breaking down and it's time to move, before the dreaded nose dive occurs.  Whether or not I listen to myself is another story, but I usually have a good idea why the ball didn't carry, what I need to do to adjust and also what I need to make sure to stay away from

Mental game

I love my mental game.  Which is why I guess I love being anchor.  It's a lot of fun.  Strike in the 10th?  Woot, no problemo.

My constant drive to get better. I don't think there are many people who have the will and drive to succeed at this game that I do.

My best attribute is my desire and will to improve and help others improve based on what I can tell them. I am getting pretty good at this game but unless you average 300, there is always room for improvement.

I am constantly seeking more knowledge and techniques and lane play and etc.....

You get the picture, I love to learn and will do anything to improve my game!!

I would say my zest for learning more about the game, applying to what I can do and also helping others with their game. That's why I have the desire to get the training necessary to be a youth and adult bowling coach.

My knowledge of the game.
This is both a good and a bad thing.
the good:it makes me versatile, helps me help others (adjustments, drillings, ball selections).
the bad: I think too much and make to many small adjustments when carry isn't what I think it should be, it makes me a "Jack" of many releases but a "Master" of none.

I guess versatility.  I can play in front of the ball return, firing the right edge, and anywhere in between.

The bad thing is, I don't seem to excel at any one thing anymore........

BTW, I shot a whooping 514 tonight.  I was really on my game

OH you should be SO proud. Your best attribute is that you are a CHEATER.

Be glad you don't live in my area. Last guy that got caught bagging got his fingers broke and every cheater gets caught eventually.

To tell you the truth, I dont think I really have any good attributes on the lanes. I get mad when I bowl bad, I have no mental game, Im not consistent. Ask andy, I dont have many good attributes on the lanes, except maybe the fact I'm always trying to learn something new to try and get better. I also love to watch leagues bowl, and my GF always gets so bored. I dont know if thats really an attribute, more or less just something I like to do.

Some folks say that I'm egotistical,
Hell I don't even know what that means,
But I guess it's got something

That I fill out my skin-tight blue jeans......

I think my best attribute is my attitude, and that I try to cheer on both teammates and opponents.  When you get right down to it, we're all a bunch of grownups throwing rocks at sticks.  There are more important things in life, so just go out, bowl and HAVE FUN DOING IT!
