forward roll and backend reaction
« on: February 10, 2015, 08:39:44 AM »
Ive been working on my release with my coach and he taught me to do more forward or end over end roll but i don't see that much backend reaction. Do i need more side roll or is there a way to get more backend with forward roll? Is it the layout or the surface that i need different? Right now using a hyroad pearl at 1500 + polish with pin over ring but i don't see that much backend from it right now

Back on topic...a bowling ball has to slow down to change direction...when it does (and if properly) the bowling ball will travel in the direction the rotation is...so back to the tire theory...if the tire is rotating at a 12:00 o'clock rotation it will merely continue in that direction...if it is rotating at a 45 degree rotational angle, it will travel in that direction...
The forces applied by the bowler will effect what the bowling ball does
