It's bad to bake a ball in a household solely because the heat level cannot be controlled properly. The thermostat is not accurate, for one thing, and for a 2nd it must be kept below the 140-150 degree range, as far as I have learned.
The best choice is the bowling device called the Rejuvenator or the Revivor. It uses and accurate thermostat and a timing device.
2nd best is a hot water bath, as long as you can insure to some degree, that it's not hotter than 150 degree Fahrenheit as it comes out of the faucet.
3rd is the dishwasher method; but you MUST turn off/deactivate the automatic drying cycle.
