What goes long and come back like a monster?
« on: March 03, 2005, 01:13:23 AM »
Hello guys! anyone can provide me a list of current line balls that goes LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG and SNAPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSS like a monster?

*Forgotten to mention abt condition.

Lane conditions would be med to heavy. Not flooded lanes, I've 1 ball in mind for that ..

power grooves would NOT snap on medium heavy. They wouldn't do anything unless its got super dry outsides and backends.

There are plenty that do. Alot of it is based on drilling to go with it though. The posts that come out of topics like this are funny, because probably 50% of the people on this site are dedicated to 1 or maybe 2 ball companies---so what do you think they are going to suggest?

Alot of what is mentioned will work though.

in addition to the above, a lanemaster absolute power will be very angular on a true med condition with the right drilling. depending on your revs etc....
pin above finger cg kicked out a little. no weight hole. but I do have an inverted track and this is layout seams to be angular on the backends for me.

long and flip huh? well, i agree that the people posting here are devoted to one company, well im not, so heres my opinion. U said med heavy, well, if u want a
Hammer: real deal (polished a bit)
Columbia: that im just not sure about, but maybe a bully??
Track: exception
Storm: the x-factor is great, but for heavier the new vertigo is amazing (my friend throws it)
RotoGrip: oracle, or apocalypse sanded a bit
Ebonite: xxcel (great as long as theres carry down, other wise too angular)
Brunswick: absolute inferno is ok for med-heavy
Dyno THane: dont have a clue

An absolute could work.........

And so what if the people posting are one-company based?  That's actually better, since we have more detailed knowledge since we only have to focus on one company.  I know the B Balls in and out, without even throwing them all. When you are multi-company, your knowledge is not as in-depth.

andy thats true, but lets say you are a ebonite guy, and only throws ebonite, and someone asks u a question as to what ball is the best for a certain condition. Lets say ebonite dosnt have the best ball for this condition, but u know that, lets say, storm has the best ball for this condition of all companies, would u tell the person about that ball? or would u tell then an "ok" ebonite ball and have them but the ebonite one? Now i dont know what you would do, but if i were devoted to 1 company, i would want to sell their stuff, and recomend one of their balls, not the one what would help out a person the best.

Thank you guys.. Till now I'm still not sure which ball to get Anyway, Singapore doesn't have companies like MoRich nor LaneMaster nor Lane #1 nor D/T. Just those common companies hanging around. Might just go to a pro shop someday to check out some international balls. And see how it goes.

Appreciated all ya guys help!

Singapore?  Well that makes things different.  For brunsiwck balls, do you have the international zones, or the infernos, BVP and the European/North American stuff?

Why a Monster will do just that, SlayR to be exact. For something newer a punisher will fit the bill also.

That thing hits hard, carries very well. You can ask.

I like my Punisher. Drilling has it really smoothed out, so dont know if it will be what you are looking for.

LOL No I dont throw just Brunswick.
