I would enjoy bowling teams more since i could socialize, and if i did bad, i would have someone else to back up my scores.  But, if i do good, i'd be upset if the others sucked and we lost.  But i suppose i'd rather bowl teams.  Though singles would give me the mindset that I control my destiny, and i don't have to worry about anyone else.

Both have their own merits.

Singles. I like team ok, but I hate being the one person dragging everyone down if its an off day. (or being the only person trying to hold everyone else up). By myself, the only pressure is doing good for myself, whereas on teams there is the pressure of doing good for them.

Nothing was better than my first year at Indiana State bowling on the B team.  Myself, and four other guys, best time ever.  We bowled IU at our tournament and not only did we almost shoot a baker 300, but we whipped them something fierce.

i enjoy bowling team except for the waiting----you know, waiting for your turn again. waiting for a bowler to return from the restroom, bar, phone, etc. waiting for the people on the other team, etc. i prefer bowling singles. the pace is quicker and more condusive to staying in a better rhythm---which usually means making better shots.
