What happens to Brunswick if the borders are closed?
« on: April 30, 2009, 07:56:38 PM »
I read in the Washington Post that Mexico was considering closing its borders due in large part to the spread of the swine flu.  If this is the case, how will it effect the availability of Brunswick equipment?  If you throw the Big B, what will you do?

Sell their balls till the Brunswick stock already hear runs out, actually I'm surprised the president hasn't closed our borders yet.

I don't expect the border to close. As said by many  from the administration, like closing the barn door after the horses are out, a waste of time/money/personnel.

They simply roll the ball across the border or throw them over the fence.

Somehow the flow will continues.

Millions of illegal aliens isn't enough to close the borders. How could a few cases of swine flu do it?

Shut up, Richie. Everyone here knows who you are, and we're sick of your anti-Brunswick, pro your own company propaganda. Go back to making your inferior Lane #1 garbage and stay out of our threads.

Maybe if you knew how to manufacture more than one core design, you'd be respected and wouldn't be butt hurt about everyone knocking your equipment because nobody would knock a good product. You suck, your equipment sucks, and you're acting like a child by coming on here under an assumed name and bashing Brunswick.

Stay the hell out of our forum, nobody needs you.

Brunswick will be (pardon my french) screwed...

I read an article that Brunswicks boat sales are down massively and the only thing keeping them alive is their bowling ball sales

Brunswick is a Fortune 500 corporation with bowling being around 10% of their total sales numbers. Out of that, the bowling consumer division is probably 10%, so you do the math.

When a company does around $5 billion in sales, a division that does the amount the consumer division does is not going to keep it afloat.

The Marine division is what keeps Brunswick 'alive', not the bowling division.
