Anyone use MOTIV Power Gel Scuff?
« on: June 22, 2009, 06:43:37 AM »
I'm considering trying this stuff out, but I wanted some input if anyone here has used it before. I found this part of the description pretty interesting:

quote:
A unique benefit of Power Gel® Scuff is that the scouring compound also doubles as an oil absorber. Just apply it to the ball surface and allow it to dry to a powder. As it dries, lane oil is lifted from the pores of the cover stock and captured. When the material is completely dry, just brush or vacuum it from the ball surface.

This product works as advertised, the surface of the ball will be at about 800-1000 grit when finished. One of the best cleaner/compounds I have ever used.Give it a try,you have nothing to lose and, a great ball reaction to gain.     Angela Wilt:Motiv staff member.

Is this a product that you can use after every session of bowling or after so many games? I've seen it on their site when I first ordered the gel cleaner.

The Power Gel Scuff can be used after every session to clean and scuff. To remove oil from the ball, you apply gel to one side of the ball and let dry for one hour, then wipe off with clean rag, then apply to other side of ball and let set for another hour then wipe off.It works very well, give it a try you will not be disappointed.
