need help choosing a light oil ball.
« on: June 20, 2006, 11:12:04 AM »
I am trying to figure out what to get that is a step down from my rampage which is working effectivly on med to med heavy lanes.  My rampage is drilled 3L with a weight hole, so it has a pretty big backend.  I was woundering what would be a good ball to go bellow it or if just buying another rampage and gettting it drilled weaker is an option.

You could try an element Ice ( blue ). That seems like a ball under the rampage.

Other light oil balls that are really good would be the Saturn or Mercury from Roto Grip, HB Hybrid from Storm, Blue Green Centaur from Visionary, Solution Power Plus Ex from Track. Any of these should fit the bill you're looking for.

not sure if you throw 14 or 16 Lbs or not...

but...

the Quantum Elite Limited Edition would make a great med/dry lane ball

smoother reaction off the dry than the rampage.

Go with the tropical storm. It is the only ball I have been using in summer league and it performs and hits like a high end ball. I can use it on anything from dry to med conditions.

Brunswick Power Groove Dry/R is the ticket. I have seen alot of these on the extreme dry lanes. I use a negatively drills Lane 1 Viper Pearl and it wirks great but don't know if you will find one of these.
