Ones where the lanes is super dry with nearly no oil on real wooden lanes.  My style gets owned on those.  I prefer lots of oil all over the lane or THS of course.

Cheetah on wood lanes always gets me.

Also, there was this crazy pattern at Teen Masters this year that ate me alive...it was also a short pattern.

I have more trouble on the shorter patterns (36' or less), but I'm getting better. It's all about practice.

The Cheetah is by far and away the worst.  I think it is mainly due to the obvious fear I still have to play that close to the gutter.  My last run on that pattern was the best thus far.....but still horrible.

short-light oil, dry heads with carry down.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

I consider myself fair accurate on most shots, but the hardest shot I've had to bowl is either a really fresh US Open pattern, or one where the oil widens in the back part of the pattern.  That always gets me REALLY irritated.

The short at Teen Masters was pretty brutal I thought. But I think the hardest pattern for me is (regarding PBA patterns) the Scorpion. I've done well on the other 4 but I haven't done anything on that, can't seem to get a good match up.

I cant seem to bowl on patterns that have a load of oil in the middle and an abrupt lack of oil on the outside. Playing the oil line I cant get the ball to move, bump it a little into the dry and its nose diving the headpin.

The over the weekend open bowling burn or the birthday party bumper bowling burn are usually the toughest for me.  I like throwing my ball and watching it hook when it hits the lane, or watching it just skid 60 feet.

Since they tightened it up, the Cheetah kicks my azz up and down.  Won't come back from 2 or 3 board and overhooks off the 5 board.  I can be pretty accurate, but not THAT accurate!!  I had more room on the old relatively-flat 50' ToC shot.

The one I can not figure out.  My problem is I have no idea what pattern is out most of the time except when there is an out of bounds to the right that will not come back from or the real dry over hook no matter where you play it.

for all the people who struggle on the new cheetah i found success playing 3 arrow to the track area with a break point around 7. i am a higher rev player so that may have helped. i was also using my arch rival.

the toughest pattern ive bowled on by far was the short at Junior Gold this year. 34'.....not good went -177 for 6

If I tried that on the Cheetah I saw in my PBA Experience league, I'd pick off the 10 pin if I was lucky.  My best look was directly up the 4 board with slower speed.  And yes, I'm a lower rev guy, but even the high rev guys were playing it pretty direct.
