Personal Ball Revivor

I own the Nu Ball Rejuvenator which I purchased in 2015 for about $189.00. The maker is Salmon Creek Bowling Products at www.scbp.biz. The unit has worked well and is a good investment.

Have a friend who purchased, but just when the pandemic started and alleys closed, but likes his purchase, or did like it previously, but haven't heard from him in some time. Owned two different ones. I had the Nu Ball, which I rarely used and ended up giving it away so someone here. I worked okay, but then I got my second one which was more of a pro shop model. I got a good deal on it after Nationals from Frankie May. They didn't want to ship everything back, so a lot of equipment was being sold at good prices.

Even with the "pro" model, I realized that I rarely used it. Ended up selling it for a decent profit though.

So in short, I honestly don't recommend buying one.

Keep wanting to get an ultrasonic cleaner to try instead if the ball revivor style. Keep hearing it removes the oil better, deeper.

Had one of the units on order, just the big 14l units - not bowling specific, seller never sent it so had to get a refund. Prices shot up and haven’t found one in stock again at a pseudo reasonable price.

Made a knockoff out of a dehydrator or the revivor one. I believe you’re local to me Dakota. Once things are lifted, more than happy to let you borrow it to try out.

Something a friend of mine would do is just purchase a ball cup and once the sun is out, put the ball outside on his porch and let the heat help extract the oil.  Then go out every 10-15 minutes with a rag and some alcohol and wipe the ball down.

I have a NuBall and it works well... when there's enough oil in the ball to extract. If you regularly clean your equipment after bowling there isn't going to be much that comes out. I'm sure some evaporates without collecting on the surface but I doubt that makes much of an impact. Using a towel to wipe the oil off after every shot makes a big difference too.

I've done balls for teammates and some high school bowlers that don't (or didn't) clean after bowling. It's crazy how much comes pouring out for hours on end.
